The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

It's intimidating sharing pictures of my babies since everyone else has mature knock outs. But, since some of you are mentioning scraggly, I thought I'd share this young man. I don't know what happened in the coop last night, but he woke up with total attitude this morning. He is extremely slow to feather and his comb and wattles are just now appearing. I have some boys that feathered as fast as the girls, this one was just interested in growing feet and bones. His eyes remain a beautiful green. I don't know when that will change, but I will cry. As of yesterday, he is 9 weeks old. Can you believe that much time has gone by?

20 weeks old pullets. I have a splash and blue that I think are nice, but not sure. Please let me know what you think. I'm not a breeder just an admirer and would like to know what I have. How is the lacing on the blue pullet? I have thick skin so tell me what you think.












 
ok deek pipsandpeeps and naturespace, my husband just said hes going to call the fun police on me..im having waaaay too much fun with this..mine is a true scraggly at the moment or i woukd show a few pics, husband calls them summer feathers...some are feathers and some are not....yet.i see a beautifl swan in there thou..
