The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

20 weeks old pullets. I have a splash and blue that I think are nice, but not sure. Please let me know what you think. I'm not a breeder just an admirer and would like to know what I have. How is the lacing on the blue pullet? I have thick skin so tell me what you think.

I just want to hug them!!!

I've posted this request in the Orp pic thread and since some of you have the American type as well, I thought I'd take a chance and post the same information here. Below is part of an email correspondence with Dr Batty (The Oprington Fowl). If you would please consider submitting photos of your Orps for his consideration in the next edition of the book. Proceeds from the sale of the book benefit the Poultry Trust Fund. (UK). I'll send him a CD of the pictures. Thank you so much.

Quote from our correspondence:

Would value photos of your birds (and those of your friend) for inclusion in our books. The USA birds tend to
be more true to the Standards than do the British !

How much is he paying per photo?

$0. Proceeds go to the Poultry Trust Fund. We get the ...wow, that's my Orp in the book. I can copy information about his efforts if you are interested. I think it would be fun since Dr Burdett was the keeper of the Queen's Buffs.

As an added bonus...we might , just might, get the US and English judges on the same page!!
