Havent we been around this mountain before. I thought this thread was about Imported English Orpingtons and how much we enjoy them and not a comparison of the American standard to English Standard. It just gets so redundant. I think for this discussion a thread should be started so everyone interested in discussing it can give all the opinions they want on how much they love the Apa standard birds above the Imported type and let this continue to be the thread it was intended. Just my humble opinion
lot of us be in line for that hunt...poor julie wouldnt have any chicks left.It would be kind of fun to have a chick hunt , Maybe![]()
That picture of the five month old blue cockerel is the one I was talking about with the wings. His are getting better but he is still on trial for a few more months.julie, your birds are just beautiful as always..we always enjoy the tour..hope you post more often..i know your a busy gal...so much love my eos. i can see why you love them so much..with all of your experience with english, your input is valuable..on occasion questions will come up that you might be able to help with..i have a couple..you posted a picture of a big blue somewhere, he had some funny wing feathers, i had one do that last year..kind of scared me a bit, but once all the baby wing feathers fell out and replaced with adult it was right as rain..never knew they ever looked like that..
