The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Well I took another huge amount of photos today, so here goes. THis first batch are of the youngest chicks. Blueberry and BLuebonnet are pullets from Winston & Minerva. The 3 cockerels are from Winston & Clementine. They have grown tremendously. THese hatched between 08-05 and 08-13...the little splash Cockerel, Sultan (Named by a friend), is the youngest of this group.

I also am posting a few pictures of my gorgeous Clementine. She is nearly through molting - still hasn't gotten her tail completely in or her "hangy down fluff" but it's coming in. I hope she is finished soon.

Julie - The little blue roo is the one I wanted you to look at. I"m really liking him and he is the friendliest little thing and totally fearless.

Well, I tell ya .... the blues have always been my favorites.... BUT, I am falling in love with the O's. I am now liking the blacks equally as much as the blues! Beautiful ! ! !

Clementine is looking fabulous. Her molt did her well .... gorgeous feathers.

I agree, Clementines feathers are looking good.
Joy, I think the lighter blue cockerel is stunning. He is going to be a keeper for sure.

I have to say Rumples is still my favorite between him and Hagrid. Both look good. I just have my fav.
The O's are ooooo lllaaaaaa lllaaaaa.
Love the B's all fab looking.

Hope you start getting some eggs soon. Keep the pics coming.

Joy, I can't believe how much they have all grown! They do all honestly look like they're in that "teenager" phase, where'd the babies go???

Clementine looks so striking, her face just has this presence. She's beautiful.

Bluebell still is and will always be my favorite youngin'. She's just pretty like her momma. But the O's are STUNNING!
I'm with Kathy, they're really making me appreciate the blacks.

I can't wait until my babies get that growth spurt and start maturing out of the lanky stage they're in. They're gonna be big!

I think we may have an answer to our mystery chick. From Sandy's fabulous eggs, this little one wasn't really feathering in and NOW I can only think that it's a cockerel.

SIX WEEKS OLD - check out his crop. Looking pretty bad right now, to say the least.....
