Just chickens? They are your feathered kids ! You're not fooling anybody.

DragonLady...you know more about my obsession with these kids better than anyone else.

One of my son's joked this Thanksgiving that when I died he knew the Gold Laced would inherit the house.

LOL, me in a nutshell. I don't know anything about chickens, but I know what I like. That's why I couldn't part with Rock Star. Couldn't send him off. Instead, gave him two girlfriends.

Next weekend, at the show, I'll absorb as much as I can. Pick Julie's brain, if she has time. And, take lots of pictures since I am a visual learner.

It's all good fun! They're just chickens, right?

You will have alot of fun!!! Julie will have time to talk chickens, she is a real sweet lady, and Imogene is a blast.

Dee... Danny is so smart... I put him out today for a few hrs... and the temps dropped.. Soo went back out to get him... He came out from behind the his dog house and sat at my feet for me to pick him up.... I am telling you... Orpingtons are the smartest chicken there is...

May take you up on that someday Dee, and when we get this log cabin finished you guys can come up here for the fall shows and beautiful wine country..you would have a whole floor to yourself..Vickie knows that doors going to be open for her any time..were still under construction..

I did understand what you meant by the kids bedroom, indoor kids..Lol. thou I have spent many a night sleeping in the barn with expecting warmblood mommies..

I love your cull..
I have a hen with a floppy comb. It comes and goes with the weather. Ya never know. He is to pretty not to use or a least try. Or loan out?
