at all that snow! It never snows here.... I bet the birds love it

Ok, I tried to take a few more pictures this afternoon. It was really windy so it was a chore to take a decent photo. The chickens were cooperating, but the wind was blowing their feathers all over the place. HA!

First are two different Chocolate hens. Different from "princess 2 tail feathers" of yesterday. They are both pretty friendly but I was lazy and took one photo through the chicken wire

The second photo, the hen had her feathers ruffled a bit.

Jeremy, here are two updated pictures of my silver laced. She blinked in the second photo

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and has been enjoying this snow. We only had a heavy dusting. It was a wet snow, so very pretty! I love looking at ya'lls pictures. Everybodys birds looks awesome!! I bought this young trio from Roger and I just love them. So glad to add them to my program.

Hi,

One of the chicks I sold turned out to be a rooster and the woman is looking to re-home him. After seeing his picture, I wonder if I should keep him.
He is Lavender Cuckoo. I think he is the result of my Black English Orp rooster that is Split with Lavender and my Crele Project hen. Is anyone working on a Lavender Cuckoo pattern?

Here are a couple of pictures. I would love your opinions.

Maybe you should keep him till you know for sure. He looks pretty good.

Every ones pictures look so nice

Thank you all for the complements on my birds..they love the snow. Orpingtons prefer a bit of cold over all the heat. Those feathers are so thick with all of this snow and cold. I have to keep checking to make sure it is good meat under all of that fluff too. They eat so much!!

If you have any interest in breeding that color, I would take him back. He's a handsome fellow !

Roger, he is a handsome boy for sure. He reminds me of my Neville, but I'd say your boy has better type. Keep up the good work! I can't wait for Spring!
