I just love checking in. So many pretty birds to enjoy while I sip my coffee. Below is Mad Max @ 29 weeks. He's getting his turn with the ladies. Keeping my fingers crossed. This boy is "giganimous". His chest lacing is complete now and am waiting to see what happens with his underfluff lacing, which is always a bonus. He was in the middle of grooming himself when I took this picture. He normally holds his wings up close and tight. His comb hasn't flopped!
Max is awesome looking!! Dee, I really love looking at your birds but I also try to scope out your pens and set up in the background. It really seems like you have a nice place for the birds. I would love to see pictures of how you did things.

Thanks Jeremy and TKay. It will be fun to see what Mad Max throws.

TKay, I will photograph my "gorilla cages" and setup this weekend. We have grey and red fox and racoons galore. So far, they get zapped once by the electric wiring and they don't come back. My biggest problem right now is the next door neighbor's Lab pup they got for Christmas. Every time I let them out to free range, their daughter lets out the pup. Naturally he catches their scent and gets in our temporary fencing. Electric company should be marking electrical wires and the permanent fence goes up. Didn't do it sooner because I was trying to decide how much yard to give them.

Nellie, how long is the list for these guys? I would love to be included for hatching eggs or day olds.

Do you know the weights of the parent stock? Did you receive photos of them from Sandy?
