They're drying. Sweet babies. The first one to hatch kept trying to help the others. At one point, it sat on top of one that was hatching. Poor little guy had to work twice as hard.

Going to end up Partridge ? Interesting, Nellie.On the pictures above everything except the black hen was hatch from Crele/Legbar orpington imported eggs - even the lavender/tan boy (except the cuckoo orps of course - they are pure cuckoo orpingtons)
I think they are on the right track but a variety of color, as can happen with this variation. I am hoping to get them a little more consistent. I have pictures of the sire but I never did get pictures or any information on the hens he was bred to. This is a picture of the front roo in the picture of three, almost resembles a very dark partridge (black copper marans color).
