I'd give the boy a little time to settle in before you do anything drastic. Comparing them to 14 year olds with hormones raging sounds about right, delisha

I have all types of chickens, from easter eggers to seramas and English orps. It has been raining here in florida everyday, and some have gotten sick, but not one of the English. Could it be from where they are from?
I am so glad you asked about this. The roo I got from Deek (Louis) is acting like this. My other two are very sweet and gentle with the girls. They let the girls eat first and are never rough. Louis is just a terror to the ladies. Thankfully he hasn't drawn blood or seriously hurt any of them. I will give him some more time, he is so dang gorgeous. I appreciate the responses..............I will try to see him through kinder eyes.............. I just keep comparing him to my Old Roo.................need to stop that...................![]()
Your going to needs hens/pullets that don't have a lot of white in the wings to compliment him if you would like to improve on what you have.
