I found an older pic of our Cuckoo Orpington. Please tell me what you think and what could be improved on.

Type. Type. Type. He's barred. But he doesn't look much like an Orpington. Body and comb mainly.

Would it be better to breed best brother with best sister? Then breed best of their offspring to the grandfather.

well maybe but the boys are away at camp
so the daddy is all i have left.
unless one of the young chicks that i have running around the coop
turns out to be a rooster
i think dad to daughter is the common way it's done
but i'm sure there are other ways too

I think his son will look great, and a lot closer to standard, which is what I am shooting for.
