The pullet is lovely. You need a cockerel with much more chest. Compare his to hers.I want a Jubilee, but have decided to practice working on type with just Black Orps until I figure out how to cull good. Here is my best hen (imo) and her roo. Keep in mind, I just got into chickens this year and am just now beginning to select for breeding so my stock is small scale. They are both under 8 months in these pics I think.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving too, Nellie ! Please post some more of your Eye Candy !Wow, where did the summer go! Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the corner. First I want to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all, Vicki, Lynnie, Dee, Alton, Roger, Bryce and anyone else I have forgotten (and the newbies I do not know). It has been some time since I have posted but I do jump on to see how everyone is doing.
Hope everyone's chicklets made it through the crazy summer we had. It has been a good while since I posted any pics so thought I would share a few while I'm here. A lot of pretty eye candy on here, good job everyone!
Ok, last one............... Sorry for temporarily hijacking the forum![]()

You'll love the Buffs Nellie. They have wonderful temperaments.I'm seeing some nice stiff tail feathers on that pullet. Possibly out of one of the birds I sent Marc.I hope so.
