Anyone looking for a free 100% English cockerel? I have three boys that I need to rehome. BBS from Jeff/@Papa Brooder and I have all three colors. They're 10 weeks today. I'm in the Bay Area and willing to drive and deliver within a reasonable area (say 2 hours).

I'm pretty happy with them. Wish my fav hen had better lacing, but some of the others look like they might turn out well.

Does anyone have pics of 5-6 month old English Blue Orpingtons? I just traded for a trio and they are black. I asked the guy and he said they'd grow blue fluff when older. Just trying to see if i got snookered. I have 4 buff hens and 4 buff pullets, 1 splash pullet, 1 splash roo that was supposedly a girl too. 1 blue/red roo and a buff/blue roo. I was so ecstatic to find English Blues, but now I want to make sure he was honest.

Of all the blues I've ever had I've never had one that was black then grew blue fluff. They were definitely either blue OR black. Can you post pictures of them?

So is there a line of English lavender Orpingtons that doesn't have frayed feathers? I have yet to see any but I'm sure they exist somewhere. I'd love to get ahold of some.
