The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Okay, so I took a LOT of pictures today of The O's, Hagrid, Rumples and Bluebell. I can never pick which ones to post, so I'm going to post them all....I apologize in advance for so many. I will break them into 2 posts.

First...these are mostly Bluebell and Rumples. Bluebell is just a gorgeous girl...I'm so in love with her !!

These are mostly of Octavia and Hagrid. Olympia was not in a mood to have her photo taken today

The color is not so good in them - it was really cloudy and stormy today.

My gracious Kathy - they have grown sooooooo much in such a short time !! Yep, I see all 11 of them. I see a couple that I wouldn't mind having back

Can you tell how many pullet/cockerels you have?

Joy they all look really good. My favorite is still rumples. He catches my attention everytime i see them. Bluebell has fantastic coloring. She is a beauty for sure.

Kathy they look good. I like those two on the far right look from the back.

Amazing how much they change as they grow.

I am moving my last two groups to the ground tomorrow. I will try and get some pics. Can't wait to get them out of the wire runs. I can never see them as well till they hit the ground.

I have got to decide who is staying and who is going and get some a few names going on. I do have one splash cockerel I haven't named but I know I am keeping him . He is my buddy. When I let them out late in the evenings to freerange and I sit in a chair to watch them all he comes up to me several times and pecks my shoe for attention. Yesterday he was pecking at the cord from my camera I was holding. Has a great personality. Looks good too.

That is what I have to do, one of these days. This one is staying forever! I have one lovely girl that is so friendly and fun to watch. I can hardly wait to see how she looks in a few more weeks. She has been named Julie, after her breeder. Both are very sweet.
