Mercy Kathy - they have grown SO fast !! What is your cockerelullet ratio? I see several in the photos that look really promising, but I'm thinking I'd love to have that little boy back !! He is the cutest thing !! He appears to like posing for the camera !!

Cheryl, I'm very sorry to hear your little one didn't make it.

I thought I would share the picture Joy took of my chicks before she dropped them off at the post office,
they're now in transit and I should have them very soon!

Dang Jeremy!! How many did you get!! 10?? Makes me feel kinda trifling to have only asked for 2-4. I'm not sure if I have room for more than that right now but I am soooo jealous. Maybe I need to rethink my coop/run remodel plans....

I've got 11 little peepers heading my way, our PO closed 20 minutes ago so I'm guessing that they'll be here in the morning.
I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight! I guess it's a good thing I work in the evening tomorrow.

I can't wait!

Cheryl- You asked about fluffy chicks and the problem with goopy feathers, and the shrink wrapped chicks is your humidity. You may want to up it a little bit to see if you have better results. I also noticed that when I "help" other chicks hatch that when the remaining chicks hatch, they are sticky.

Love all the chicks! They are absolutely adorable!
