This morning I went out to the coop to find the only Splash hen I have limping. I don't know what happened but she has been removed from the coop because one of the big black roos kept trying to mount her. Now that's the last thing she needs right now.

Great pictures, Julie. I love the one of Charlie and Rocky. Hagrid challenged Winston the other day...Winston didn't back down - unfortunately, neither did Hagrid. I had to get a big stick to push them apart. Men

I took a couple pictures this evening too.

The lighting is kinda bad, the sun was already setting when I pulled my camera out. The chooks were enjoying the brush pile today, there's always something new and fascinating when you have a jungle for backyard.

By the way, the flash on my camera distorted the look of the birds some, none of them have white in the middle of their feathers and they all don't have light brown eyes.

This is one of the better shots I could get of a bird's lacing, it's really hard to capture up close.
