Must be something in the air!!! I got my first english pullet egg today too from a blue girl!!!

Wow.....something must be in the air, or in the water !! Congrats to all of us for getting eggs !!! I got a Bluebell egg AND and "O" egg today !!

ME TOO! ME TOO!!!! Just went out to visit the birds and found TWO eggs in my Blue & Black Orpington pen!!!!

So excited! I got some lav Ameraucana chicks the same age as the Orps, and I was positive I would get an egg from them first! Maybe the ground hog was right and spring is coming early after all!!!!

I'm getting eggs left and right from my BW Ameraucanas but none so far from my English girls.

I am happy for you that you have hatched some of those beauties already this year. Are they from that large blue male that your husband likes so much? Sorry, don;t remember the bird.s name. Good luck and keep hatching. Harry

Go Julie! And so it begins, huh? Congrats all on the first eggs. I know I'm thrilled, for sure!

I'm putting eggs into the bator today, so I'll just slip the 3 I've gotten so far in with them-just to see if they're fertile.

Harry they are not from Hoss. I do have two eggs from him under two broodies who need to get off the nest.
These were out of Charlie's pen. I don't have him penned with the certain girls i want him in with and he also had when these eggs were set two son cockerels in with him. I think they are probably Charlie's though.

I have a few to hatch next week. The three i hatched Nov first look really good. Only problem is two boys from Charlie over a Splash girl that I sent to Joy the week after I set the eggs. One black girl is from your bird Tubby Jr. She is a big girl at 3 months.

I am so busy this week I have got to have time to wash that incubator and get ready to move the next ones to it on Sat.
I got to get off now and go cook some more stuff for the Banquet I am cooking for for Friday nite.
Just got done ironing and folding napkins. I love it though

Congrats to everyone with eggs and chicks !!

I've been putting eggs from Winston's pen in the incubator and so far none have been fertile...not surprising since I have not trimmed him. I am waiting for the weather to warm up. I don't want him to be running around with a cold bum !!

I have put the eggs I've gotten from The O and Bluebell in the bator - to early to candle, but I"m on pins and needles waiting to see if they are fertile
