Hi yes, these are the Bantam variety, I live in an urban area, planned to have 4 chooks, eat the eggs and enjoy them, but now have 15

and love them all. Just had a hatch of Frizzle Pekins bantams (these are like mini Orpingtons with feathered feet), Lavender Aurancanas and some Lemon Millieflur Salboot (OEGB). I am hatching out for some friends but I am soooooooooo in love with them, it's going to be hard to let them go.

I have not got any orther Orpintons at the mo, but my other half really wants a Golden Buff (have you ever seen these, they are stunning!) but I think we need to rebuild or add onto the coop to have any more.

At the moment we are in the process of hatching out Silver Seabrights (OEGB), Sultans, Black Belgium D'Anvers, Chocolate Cuckoo Marans', and The GL Orpingtons

I'll try to find the pictures of the Golden Buff cockral from the farm we get the eggs from and post that up

And thank you for the welcome, I love this site

Yep, Enabler. I am going to make Coconut Lime verbena today, Monkey Farts and i have to decide what other one I am making. So many Fragrances and so little time. I am making some 2 lb batches trying some of the fragrances.

Joy I can't wait to see the big boy. I may take a picture of my big Champ boy that is five weeks old. Well looks like the cold weather is gone now. We are going to be near 90 by Sat. I think I will move some of the chicks to a ground pen. I need to move some around. I am not hatching any more for myself until I get those eggs from Joy and I get the breed pens switched up so I get a few Taylor/Charlie mix and Chester over the best blue girls I have. Can hardly wait for those.

BB I will send you a PM on soaping.

. They look like American type to me. Your buff girl looks so sweet. I just love Buff Orps. Thanks for posting the pictures.

For reference, like if someone asks me to explain the difference, what do I tell them? Can you give me some specific landmarks and differences I could point out to buyers? Thanks for any help. Learning here. I already learned enough to grab good looking birds, but not enough to speak intellingently on the finer points. LOL Thanks in advance.
