Carol brought her up and gave her to me, she is a very calm girl. I love her. she came from you so I thought you might like to see how she is turning out.

I am surprised Carol gave her up but goody for you. Thank you for sharing that pic of her. I love to see birds that came directly from my place.
These girls right here are starting to fill out nice

he looks like Hoss. some good looking boys in there. Carol was a sweetie and brought me 2 girls, but you know she has nicer at home lol. pretty good friend that shares that kind of fluff eh??

I'd say a very good friend. He is large like Hoss but maybe a better color of blue. Not quite as dark. Blue is definitely a challanging color to get to the right shade.

Julie, your birds are positively dreamy.

I'm always impressed when you share photos. That Black cockerel is fantastic, I love his shape.

RedReiner, Alice is lovely. I have an Alice too, she's a mess right now though, a molting mess!

it is challenging, and everyone has a different opinion on what shade is the correct shade lol. Hoss was ok in color, he didnt have to much lacing but I could live with that. I like them to LOOK blue, not gray or silver. my friends all called Hoss the Turkey chicken he was so big. I have 2 sons and Carol has 1 also, there was a splash, blue and a black. Carol has the black and she says he is quite large, I have the blue and splash, the blue should be big too, they are my hand raised babies and follow me everywhere. I also have a black pullet by him and she is almost as big as her brothers. cant wait to see how they turn out. hopefully I can show one or two.

Alice is beautiful! and I love that name it fits her perfectly!

Thank You!! where abouts are you? I live out in Monroe.

Jeremy I love your Alice too lol. this one just told me she was an Alice, I have another english girl and she is Maggie, both just looked like their names to me

Thanks Marc and Onthespot! I guess I'll keep him around and see if he finishes as good as he looks now. That's a great suggestion Marc, I do have another line (from a different breeder), but I'm guessing they both came from the same lines a few generations back. Either way, I'm encouraged to hear that it is not an automatic cull from you more experienced breeders. Thanks again!
