he looks very similar to that mauve(very light colored background and chocolate colored pyle areas including the faint lacing on him) can I see more pics of him, Please.. I need it for a new post I´ll be doing in the genetic gorus place..

LOL! I'm only looking at outside appearances. I can try to get some better images of him if you would like.

whe he was young he had this fainted lacing in his chest.. but I guess now they are gone...

I think it is still sort of there, I will try to get some pictures of him today and I will PM them to you.

I believe what we are also seeing is the influence of s+/s+ on this birds, seem like most choc based birds are based on sex link recessive gold(s+) but Dun(which can look very chocolate with the correct genetic background, one of them being gold s+) can also be found on Silver based birds and the color is slate not chocolate, I am guessing that a Silver based mauve would look alot like Henks Platinum Blues(which by the way are based on sex link dominant Silver S, not gold s+).. but is just a theory of mine..
 
Here are my chocolate chicks so far, I have 6 out and also some blacks or splits out. They're pictured from youngest to oldest. Ive been trying to hatch out some pure blues before I pen up my mauve pen.
