The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

The coop is already there... it's just the numbers of other birds that need to go down birds before taking on a different project...

I could probably live without my Sumatras, if I could have another color of Orp... yeah... poor Sumatras! LOL.

Nellie, none of the eggs made it to lockdown. :(

Only 3 of the original 8 showed development, but I tossed them all when I candled on day 18.

I didn't even bother to set the other 6 that I had collected, I wish I had now... with Neville being gone that project is now on hold as well.

Very sad about Neville, I am so sorry. No more of their eggs anywhere huh?

Nope, I only collected 14 before I stopped. I didn't want the hatches to get too spread out, we're not set up to grow out chicks like that.
The original 8 didn't do anything and I didn't bother with the other 6. I figured I would try again in the spring. :/

Actually they are the equivalent to splash in the blue orps. So breeding to Gold Laced would produce Blue Laced Gold. If you bred to a Blue Laced Gold you could produce more of this color or bred them to each other (same prenciple applies as in the Splash)

yes i plan on breeding them with a blue laced gold rooster and will htach both slpash laced and blue laced because we already have the blue gold laced i will have more splash chicks in the first generation
