The Impossible Task

Hello BYC bloggers, I have a challenge for you..... I have about 3 hrs. to learn how to identify a 3-4wk old easter egger b4 i go to the feed store. If I get a rooster I'll either have to give it up or kill it (not a nice choice)..............

If I choose a pullet a chicken is saved. I know many ppl say that it is impossible to sex a young EE chicken/chick b4 it grows or unless you have a professional sexer. But if somebody anybody can tell me something i'd stand a better chance.

Try and get the one that has the smallest legs (in diameter), the larger legs around are usually guys:

And it wouldnt hurt to look at the comb (although it may be very small)-try and fet one with the smallest looking comb (in this case probably practically microscopic)
