The inevitable humidity question, day before lockdown, help please!

Pics
I tried locking them out of the other coop the other day just to see if they would consider the different boxes, well, you should have heard the racket that they all made in the run. All of them clucking and calling and telling me that there had been a terrible mistake made and I needed to come and fix it, ASAP! :gig
Might need to lock them in with the new nests.....no, they won't be happy, but they'll get over it....then probably not lay in the old nests. :D

100 !! Holy moly girlfriend, that's a shipload of chicken! I know you used to breed the Lavender ...... Orpingtons maybe? So are you breeding the others? I thought I read on another thread that you are hatching OEGBs now?

Got rid of the lavender orps. Also had chocolate orps, got rid of them too. Now just BCMs, CLs, OEGBs, 3 pens of bantam cochins and 3 pens of Seramas. :th

@aart, according to that very handy egg weight chart that you posted on the other thread, I can, with confidence state that most of my hens are laying XL to Jumbo eggs. I weighed the 11 eggs I harvested yesterday and 2 were 70g and 71g, 6 were between 64 and 69g and the other 4 were in the upper 50 -60 g.
I'm beginning to think that I am not charging enough for these beauties ;)

I have a few birds that lay jumbos....but most my cartons are about 26-27oz.

What do you ask per dozen price wise?
$3.50/dz. I don't sell to the general public, just a few friends who understand the ebb and flow of 'real food' and support my endeavor. It pays for all feed and most supplies annually. I only have about 12 layers...no room for more and I don't want to ramp up and have to sell eggs other places.

She did it!!
After a day of pacing, squawking/singing, in and out of nests, with Willie watching, she dropped the first on the board early the next AM, then another in nest later that day, then another today. Not as dark as I'd hoped, but pretty nice color.
