Chapter two-the confrence

Cuba's government and the Audubon society were seated at a dark, wooden table. They were here to discuss deforestation in ivory bill habitat.
"This man," a woman pointed, "led the research. Pleas tell the government about the nest."
The man who was pointed to rose, cleared his throat professionally, and said, "We found a nest made by a pair of Cuban Ivory Bills. The parent's behavior showed that the were on eggs."
"Thank you," The woman said, "and therefore, your best option is to protect that land in order to not let hte species go extinct."
"Thank you, Audubon Society, for the information. We will discuss this privatly and inform you of our decision."
The meeting was finished, and the choice would determine the species' future. The survival of this great bird was now in human hands.
