Maddox looked at Maximilian for a moment before nodding. At first he didn't know why they were going to do that but then he realized that probably made more sense. "Sounds good to me. I am happy just not to have to walk." Maddox said with a happy shrug.
Luka took her arm slowly, writing out "Thank U 4 Everything with some light frost on her arm. He held her hand, unsure of what to do here.
Maximilian chuckled "Alright then let's go." As they walked "He ordered softly "Stay near me. Or be together at least. This doesn't matter anymore, we are humans and nothing but. I could be your father, uncle, step-father whatever. And you two could be siblings, a couple, friends, whatever. Do not use your powers at all unless we get in a fight which would be an awful thing to experience."
Ava nodded then looked from one to the other of them "A quick check in any records would show that I have no other relatives, so you would have to be related to Maddox, and the two of us can be friends." She said then shrugged. "If that's alright?"
Jade shivered lightly at the frost forming on her skin. For a brief moment she thought of the attack he had made against her in the store but quickly pushed that away again. He wasn't attacking now and his message was sweet, so she smiled at him again. "Your welcome, though I am not certain what I did to deserve thanks"
Luka smiled, shaking his head. He replied softly, placing a hand on her shoulder "You've made me care. About someone." He whispered "And I'll never let you get hurt again."
Jade smiled softly and touched his hand on her shoulder, leaning into it a little "I didn't force you to care, you did that part on your own. I'm just glad that whatever you see in me gave you the strength to do so."
Luka nodded, listening to her attentively. He laid down on his bed, gazing up in wonder. He wouldn't let anyone know. They would try to hurt her.
Jade smiled at him again then laid down too. "So what's the plan for today?" she asked curiously. Whatever it was, playing along with the training or looking for a way to escape, she would try her best.
