I just hatched my first legbar girl! I think I have hatched about a dozen boys, so I was due. It is a darling white lady with yellow/white chipmunk striping. I think I will call her Popcorn,

I just hatched another white one. That makes four this week.
Looks like two pairs. I also have a older pair, they are about 14 weeks old. They are SO white!
Love them!

I ended up with 5 chicks, 2 girls and 3 boys. here thay are outside with their foster Frizzle mom - that night it snowed and now they run around outside in the snow!!

Very cute family picture. Running around in the snow...tough little chicks. They look like they have plenty of feathers...but those little feet in the snow! ......brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Lol

Yes, even though she is white she has very distinct striping down her back. The white boys I have hatched before I was unsure about. Maybe I was just holding out hope - but this one is pretty surely a girl. I have a white legbar rooster who is pure white except for one tiny black spot oh his wing. So, hopefully I will have a pair of whites in the not too distant future.

Hi guys. I have a question. Has anyone heard about the Essex line??? I just received a pair of chicks that are supposedly from the Essex line. They are beautiful. They look nothing like my guys when they were chicks. I'll have to get pictures to post on here.
