Michael, very nice photo in the snow. I had thought that leghorns had less body depth---but then body depth is the sign of a good layer, right, and layers are leghorns and vice versa.
Everyone---for the desired 'wedge shape' that is looking down from above right, no looking at the side view like Michael's picture.
This pet quality cockerel here... is really getting some heft to him. He doesn't seem leghorn-ish at all. Could he be pulling from the other genetics in his background. Aren't BPR's 'dual purpose' breed. For some reason my brain has lost all chicken knowledge today- the file keeps coming up 'empty'. Thanks for insights you may have.
