The Legbar Thread!

Pics
Love the pics Ron! Too cute. I am waiting for hatching eggs to add to my flock. I checked with Jenny about day-old but she said it would be mid March at the earliest. Realized I could hatch some out before then. Hope I get some to hatch and that they are girls!

I thought I'd share what these legbars are doing to me. I wasn't planning on getting them this soon so thought I'd have time to get a pen ready for them. We still have snow and cold up here so I had to get a pen in the heated part of the shop I thought. I don't have enough room in the shop with the incubators and taxidermy stuff so I started looking for a place to put them. We had a 10x16 shed that we used for camping stuff so I moved that all to the shop and barn then put in insulation and plastic. Tomorrow the rest of the inside walls and paint will go in and I have to dismantle a set of cages from the old show bird shed and reassemble them in the new shed, all before the birds get shipped on Monday. And during all this we are putting in wood floors in the house, I have taxidermy work to do, the whole farmstead of critters to care for, being a driver for the family, and loads of other stuff.
The things I do for birds... On the bright side, I got upgraded to a trio of legbars

Sounds like me! Too many projects and not focusing on one in particular. I get yelled at all the time for taking care of the chickens when I should be focusing my energy on something else. Lol. Oh well, whatever keeps us happy and out of trouble, right? Lol.
