So I got a message from her telling me she would give me refund and that she didnt get the picture I send of the bird. So we shall see.Sadly, the way the feedback works on Ebay...typically anyway, is that you leave the feedback based on the eggs you received, such as how they were packed, on time, etc. From what I could tell, because I tried to do it, you can't go back and add or redo a feedback. It would be a great feature and might put a stop to some of the sellers selling less than what they say in the egg sales. If there were two times/ways to leave feedback. Once on packing/shipping and another with a note about fertility/hatch rate and quality of birds.
I had another seller accidentally send me a wrong kind of egg...easily done, they all looked the same. When it hatched I was expecting it to be a silkie or a showgirl, it was neither. I contacted her and she responded with what it was right away, then because out of 9 eggs, that was the only one to hatch, she offered me 9 more eggs for free. Another seller refunded me right away for two eggs that were broken during shipping. So I really think it is hit and miss with good sellers and people who are honest and not just trying to make a buck. But when you look at feedback on Ebay, most people who are selling have great feedback scores. My lesson learned from all of this is to email them before you bid/BIN and ask a lot of questions. You can also look back through a sellers feedback and contact people who have won/bought similar items and ask them about what they hatched out. Bottom line, buyer beware.
I also bought Isbar and Cream Legbar eggs off ebay from (The Sheriff). Couldn't have asked for it to go any better!! Really great LadieI bought eggs on eBay and it worked out great!
But they were Mary's (The Sheriff) Isbar eggs. And I of course knew it was her. And I drove to her house and picked them up.![]()

I have blue copper Marans and Breda from Ebay egg purchases. It can be a great way to get rare chicken breeds from other parts of the country. I would order from Mary on Ebay for sure. You have to deal with things like suspect packaging and the risk of not getting what you hoped for. I was nervous enough about ordering live chicks! Fortunatley all turned out well with that!

From the first I saw her Isbar on here, I knew I had to have some.
After going to pick up the eggs, I saw the rest of her birds, saw the color of CL eggs, came home with some Icelandic chicks (I just happened to have a crate with me).![]()
After talking about it all the way home, I contacted her, she saved up some CL eggs for me and now they live here as well. As a matter of fact, the Isbar & CL chicks are in a grow-out pen together, only a few weeks apart in age.
