have not been around much lately. Hope everyone is doing well.

I just lost my EE rooster and am looking for an Ameraucana cockerel to go with the girls. I would like a white one and I think someone on this thread had some? If you do or know of someone in the E. TN area that does please let me know. I am not in a big hurry but would like to get one. Thanks

ETA: would also consider: Silver, Blue or Splash.

ok the guy is bringing me back my roo yeah! he called to see if I had any golden laced wyandotte.....does anyone around here? he mostly needs a roo.

My little silkie/houdan baby seems to have a slipped tendon. If anyone knows anything about treating this please let me know. So far I've seen that I should give her Poly Vi Sol no iron and put her in a cup and hold a treat above her to get her to exercise and use her legs but I've also seen some people talk about using a splint. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have never had one with a tendon issue recover so I will be no help. sorry.
I read that wrong, I'm sorry. I didn't read the word "recover"....how's that for denial?? Did they die or were they just disabled? I assumed if she doesn't learn to walk I could keep her indoors and baby her her entire life. I've already printed out chicken diaper patterns.

Got me a rooster today. He is a pretty one. The kids have named him Rex. Also got another that may be a girl or boy, time will tell. They've named it Twinkle.

I have had them just die because they can't eat or drink but some I put down. I have too many chickens to hand feed one for life and I use mine for breeding and I don't want to breed that defect forward. sorry.
