I understand, I think they are so cool too. But short of winning a multimillion dollar lottery, there is no hope for me to have those for at least 10 years while the numbers come up and the $$$ go down. Seeing that I am over 50 now (just barely) I don't have time to wait 10 years for anything. I want to spend 10 years breeding something not waiting to breed it.
I'm only 24 so I think I have some time to wait it out. If not I'm perfectly happy with my Reds.

Hello everyone, wanted to share a couple pics of my little baby. Only got 1 live chick out of the hatch, set 30, 15 were clear at lockdown, this one baby hatched. Just did the water testing on the others. No movements, so spent a couple hours opening up eggs (very slowly in case there was a live chick in it) out of the 14 blue/green eggs left 13 never developed and 1 had a chick that just did not hatch. No idea why.

But, I did get one live little chick and had to go buy her a buddy from the feed store, got a gold laced Wyandotte for her. Will be setting more eggs on Saturday for the hatch a long, hopefully these will be better.
