Why you want some???? haha... Sorry.... I really didn't know.... I am going to hatch some more... if you want to bring them back when I know pullets from roos.... I will give you one pullet for the roos. We can eat them. I should have some more room to grow out more roos by then. I haven't set those eggs yet.... you want a Blue Copper pullet? or black? I should have both this next hatch. Not going to hatch many though... 10 max is what I will set of my Marans. I am going to hatch some Olive Eggers too... want some? or eggs to hatch? They will be 2nd gen Olive Eggers. These girls lay a pretty olive egg now and they are in with my Splash Marans roo so they should get darker with this next generation. Someone correct me if I am wrong on the chick colors but the roo is splash one pullet looks kinda like a black copper marans so all those chicks should be blue. The other pullet is white... I think Holly side it was dominate white so all those should be WHITE???? Both pullets have feathered legs so all the chicks SHOULD be feathered too.

I don't really have many yet. I have 11 left from the first batch last week, I don't know how many are going to hatch and survive this batch and the next batch IDK how many are going to make it to lockdown maybe 18-20. I think my first few hatches I had about 80 so I am not there yet. I have 18 more egg coming next week but all those are keepers NOT to EVERBE SOLD I promised.


I have sever egg/chick swaps/sales set up for my trip to GA hoping for Wheaten AM eggs/ Blue Rock Eggs/ Silver Penciled Rocks that one is set up, Just don't know how many I am getting or if they will be laying. Still looking for some SLW hatching eggs.... no bites yet.

I will not order from a hatchery... I will not order from a hatchery.... Maybe I will find some birds at the show....

I think I may even put an ad on the CL in Atlanta, Chattanooga.... ANYBODY know of someone on the way... or not too far out of the way that has SLW? I MUST HAVE THEM!!!!

Yes.. I am so upset.. i was away at school, an hour before I got home two stray dogs wandered and got into one of my pens, killing the roo and a hen.... Thwother is untuched.. still uneure how it opened the lil door to pen..

Well I finally got my home made incubator version 2.0 all straightened out. Been holding steady at 100 for over 24 hours now. My eggs arrived today. I won 24 bantam cochins in an auction and got 30 with none broken. Also gonna be setting 7 eggs from my barred and laced EE mutts from my first hatch. So excited.
I had the hardest time getting my temps to stabilize when I transferred my old workings into the new box. It was climbing to 106 and once even 108. spent a whole day messing with it then finally figured out it was the cat laying on the glass keeping his ol' belly warm making it get hot. Put a laundry basket over the glass and the rest is history. Steadied right out. I even pushed the panic button and emailed DMRippy asking her to hatch them for me if I couldn't get it straightened out in time, and thanks for your willingness to help by the way.
