Hey there CityGirl! All well over here. Looked like someone dumped a huge cooler of ice on us Friday afternoon, and we had winds of around 50mph. All critters well and good, but I did cancel my Friday wine tasting. (well, of course that did not stop me from enjoying a glass here at home)

Hope everyone came through the nasty Friday weather intact, and that no one had any losses. :)

Stay warm and put on some good hand cream! At this time of year my hands get so red and chapped.. . . .sheesh!

I was in Chattanooga when the storms hit...my car looks like someone was very mad at it..huge dents in the roof and lots of smaller dents all over the sides trunk and hood...at least my windows didn't break. The hail was golf ball to baseball size and to save some money I had to park it in outside parking..geez that was good thinking

I sure could have used that wine by the time I got back to my motel

Rabbits did as I expected..the youth division was too small and the rabbits too young to get any meaningful wins..they got some wins and some seconds.Did get 5 registered which is what I really wanted to get done..rabbits are individually inspected by a licensed registar before they can be Registered and there isn't very many of those around.

Got a broody sitting so it won't be long before a bunch of chicks are running around all will be EE and OE but cute fluffy butts are cute fluffy butts. Now,if only my Partridge Wyandotte's would get the urge I would be all set

not that I will not buy hatching eggs, but birds are more trouble to quarantine and everything else. NO MORE!

Thanks Ms Becky... my babies had a great time. The little one had a smile on his face the whole time

and the big one can't wait to come back. I just love your birds and I am sure what I have gotten from you will improve my birds and vise versa. If you ever want to get back into the blue or silver cuckoos, I can hook you up! and anyone else in about a month

Well Donna you have great kids and your husband is so sweet! I felt so bad that Kenneth cried when you left, you will have to bring him back when its warmer and he can play longer. I hope the birds work out real good for you. I was serious about the 4th of July we have a hog roast every year and you and yours are more than welcome!

Hey, y'all!

Rutherford County co-op in Murfreesboro is having Trade Days on March 17th, April 14th and May 12th. They are opening up their parking lot to whoever wants to come sell stuff. The only caveat is no cows or horses. Chickens and rabbits and goats are fair game though. Just passing it on. I think I'm going to take some of last year's silkies in and see if I can sell them.

Might bring some roos and Dark Brahmas if I don't sell them before. Bring my eggies and I will bring yours. Do you think I could or should bring hatching eggs?

Question, the blue cuckoo pullet can I hatch her eggs? are they pure? No biggie if not. I have her in with the Silver cuckoo roo. I know the silver cuckoo pullet not pure. I may not be able to tell their eggs apart anyway, But I know it was hers today.
