I had to drop my charges against her even after having pics of her with her dogs IN MY FRONT YARD. I got six months probation.....sitting on the porch today and guess what I see the RAT TERRORIZER again....it's all good

I have a golden cuckoo marans and a couple of lav orp cockerels needing a home

Well, I am embarred to say I got locked inside the chicken coop today!! I was not a happy camper, needless to say. I went to visit momma hen and her chicks. I go inside the coop and the door closes behind me. No big deal, except yesterday my daughter twisted the the wire pull cord that runs in the coop. I pull to get out and nothing... The wire was hung on something. I was in my pajamas, and no one was home.

There is stick with a hook on the end that we use to open the doors that I try to reach the latch, but no luck. Then I remember I left the bathtub running because it takes a while to fill up. I freaked out and start ripping out staples securing the hardware cloth over the windows. I finally am able to reach my hand thru the window to lift the latch. The tub was 2 inches from overflowing!! This was not how I wanted to start my day. I can laugh about it, but I was not happy, and of course somehow it was my husband's fault!

We all have stories like that..... but that one is really good! You did FIX what you tore out to protect those babies????

Then I relized...there is no way to open the door from the inside... So I crawled through the chicken door to their pen....no way to get out...So I had to sit there and wait for her to get back...and I am standing there...looking at the chickens, as they stare at me....I could picture their thoughts.." hi everyone. i am looking for a feather legged cuckoo maran rooster. my beautiful young pullets i got from pickled chicken a few months ago are at the point of laying. and a few days ago i found my young rooster dead. no warning signs or marks. just up and died. i am need of a rooster bad. thanks

I think i know who you are talking about but i can see you geting yourself locked in a chicken coop. I went in my coop a couple weeks ago and my kids thought it wold be funny to shut the door on me except they are too short to get the top lotch well it fell any way so i had to crawl out the chicken door while all the chickens inside tried to get out with me all of the ones outside was trying to come in i was laughing so hard cause they would just walk up like they were going in and get scared and jump on my head and scream it was very funny and about the time i get all te way out here comes my hubby and he opens the big doors and lookis at the rest of me still in the coop and says what are you doing but i was laughing to hard to tell him.
