Let me look.... guess I should have grown more out. How do you feel about a Blue Cuckoo Roo? BTW they are Cuckoo..... Silver Marans are different, but would love to have some.

Yes indeed the silvers are unique! I only refer to mine as silver cuckoos because as a sex linked barring gene this can be added to many colors. I enjoy the privilege of referring to them as silver because they have no gold leakage as most tend to have.

Donna we need to get some of the Silvers this spring don't ya think!! My Whites are now showing roo features it looks like 4 and 4 so I am still happy!

I would love them! I don't think they will ever be APA approved though. Most of my birds are not APA approved.

I will look at my cuckoos. I don't know that I have any Reg cuckoos, might be mostly blue cuckoo (blue over reg cuckoo will give you 50/50 of each). I don't know why cuckoos are so hard to find with feathered legs.

I don't care if they are APA approved I still want them :drool Affording them maybe a different matter! Where is the smiley with his pockets turned out?

Don't I know it!! My chocolate Wyandottes are bred from UK choc. Orps..Guess they took the Hungry Hippo gene, because they don't stop eating. LOL I think out of all my varieties, The chocolate and my SP bantams eat tons.
