Have you tried any kind of antibiotic? I would try Tylan if i were you...it is made specifically for respiratory infections which is what it sounds like he has...I have one of my chickens get a respiratory infection from being shipped when he was a day or so old and he got to cold..any way we treated him with Tylan when he got a bit bigger (10 weeks old) and it cleared right up in 3 days and he is perfectly healthy now no wheezing or gurgle sounds anymore. Tylan you have to order from ebay or similar places and it is a bit expensive but well worth it in my opinion because it works.

Yes - I did do medications, including Tylan and he no longer has the other symptoms (no sneezing or discharge) just the rales in the morning sometimes. If it gets worse, I may do another course, but so many people recommend against antibiotics repeatedly. Its bizarre. But thanks for the suggestions - I know that I'll have TONS of questions as I go further.

Yes you can get the injections at TSC but I am talking about the powder that you mix in with water....it works the best with respiratory infections.

It would be ok if I had managed to find English Lavender Orps before he imposed this ban.
right now it is VERY hard if not impossible to get any quality Lavender ENGLISH Orpingtons...the best I have found that are for sale are lavender from Brushy Creek...they have some of the cleanest lavenders around granted they are not full english but it would only take a few generations to get them up to size and shape...now there are some beautiful English Lavs out there but most of the time the breeders that have them keep all of the chicks to them selves which is very understandable or charge ridiculous prices....your best bet to get a good english lav and breed it your self...get some good lavs and good blacks that shine GREEN not purple or blue....purple shine of blacks when bred to a lav cause the lavender offspring to have red / gold leakage on hackle and saddle feathers.
