I need to know if anyone has a vet they use close to Franklin.....I am sooooooo tired of my girls flying over the run, and this winter I'm afraid they might get really cold if they do that and can't get back in. I want to get their wings clipped for the winter and I"m afraid to do it like I'm afraid to clip my dogs nails.....LOL..... I've watched the videos but would still rather have someone show me on one of them first and then I'll try it......thanks.
I wouldnt spend money to get them clipped. It doesnt hurt them. your not clipping flesh, just feathers.

Hey Donna will you take a look at these eggs and tell me if the ones on the left are SBEL's or Olive eggers

Congrats! And those in the back look like Wyandotte eggs.

The vet we use for our other animals is "Animal Health Center" on Eddy Lane in Franklin - just a block or two down from the Co-Op. I've never taken any chickens to them, though. So I don't know if they work with chickens or not. Dr. Woody there has been our veterinarian for 20+ years.

The folllowing is available for sale.

1 Mixed French black copper maran cockeral
1 Buff sussex cockeral
5 Easter eggers I think 2 roos and 3 hens
the above are around 2 and a half months old.
1 mixed buff sussex. few weeks old.
PM if interested.

Thanks Carol I call and check. My vet Dr Butler said he never did chickens and recommended a vet out by the airport....pretty far away.
