The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Ellie’s eyes traced the chamber wondering what on earth is this group doing in a place like this? ‘Ellie’ thought quietly to herself I have to stop them from getting out of here, this is the whole reason I was put here
Blair paused. Her eyes narrowed as a strange scent filled her nose, like fresh plastic, or a dollar store in the summer with cheap flip-flops hanging on every wall. She turned, searching for the scent until she found who it was. Ellie?
It didn't smell like Ellie, no, it didn't hold the summery scent of a young girl, it held a chemical-plastic smell of something much more dangerous. She stalked up to 'Ellie', though it was more of a limp. She stopped in front of her, eyeing her. "Where's Ellie?" She snarled, the wolf coming close to the front, rising up in her mind. "Who are you, and what have you done with Ellie?"

“I’m afraid not. But it looks like everyone else is here,” Kyle said. “Maybe me and Rylie should go looking for them.

Cam was cheered to recognize Haddie in one of the first forms she had ever seen, a dandelion colored budgie with bright blue eyes. “Hey Haddie.” Even though she knew Haddie was really human, it still felt special to have a bird land on her shoulder, especially with all the other available shoulders in the room.
“Ellie? What’s wrong with Ellie? She seems ok to me...” She squinted at Ellie, trying to see something that she hadn’t noticed before. “Do you have beef with Ellie?” she accused.

As that dog approached, Rylie’s fur rose and a growl began worming itself out of his throat.
‘Play? We have a relationship developed out of respect, are you threatening me?’
Rylie whipped around but the dog was everywhere. It was going to kill him. The hunter was being hunted.
Pick a direction, any direction.
Rylie dodged to the right and kept going that way until he ran headfirst into a wall. Ouch.
“Oh, you,” Kyle said, glowering at the dog. “Are you trying to hurt my cat, stupid beast?”
As soon as the dog looked at him, Kyle ran after Rylie, though he had enough wit about him not to run head first into smooth limestone. He hid behind the trembling cat’s long fur and peeked out, sure a slobbering angry beast would pursue him.
Kit whimpered when the cat ran, and pursued Kyle and Rylie slowly. When she approached, she held back her border collie instincts (to chase the cat, of course) and laid down. Her stretched out her front legs, resting her muzzle on it and looking at Rylie. 'I'm not going to hurt you.'

"What? No, I told you, Kit and I-" she trailed off as Blair growled at not-Ellie. "See? Blair smells it too!" she chirped, shuffling around agitatedly on Cam's shoulder.

“Er, it was a joke. I don’t think they do,” Clary said. “What do you mean? You’re not useless.”
"I was joking. I could beat up a million bugs." He grinned.
Cam simultaneously laughed and shuddered as she imagined Clary as a raisin. She picked up the pace to keep up with the blonde’s longer strides. “No, I don’t think they would,” she decided. “Can you make other people invisible?” Because I wouldn’t mind that right now.

Poisonous spiders swarmed down the walls to slow the rapid progression of the role play.
"Yeah, sometimes," Charlie said, not expanding on his vague answer. He looked out a window and took a cautious step back. There was a huge ant outside, watching them.
“Soz I don’t know? What the heck does that mean?” Kyle scratched his head, turning it back into a rat’s nest.

As Kyle discovered the pair limping up the stairs, his eyes widened with alarm. “What happened to you?” he asked. Take seemed in decent condition considering he had been abducted or trapped in some way, but his rescuer had a wild look in her eyes and tourniquets on her arm and leg. “How bad is the bleeding?”
Rylie simply growled at the bouncing dog as though she was responsible for Take’s delay, lashing his tail. And it wasn’t just her. The wolfy girl didn’t just smell wolfy. She smelled foul.
Charlie barged in. "I speak 14 year old!" He cleared his throat, "She said; 'Sorry small guy, but I have no idea.'"

‘Good,’ Rylie meowed with a deep, growling tone. He sat down. ‘You better not touch little Kyle either.” Rylie curled his tail around Kyle defensively. Kyle peeked over Rylie’s back, only his nose and his eyes showing.
"What? No, I told you, Kit and I-" she trailed off as Blair growled at not-Ellie. "See? Blair smells it too!" she chirped, shuffling around agitatedly on Cam's shoulder.
“What’s wrong with Ellie? It certainly looks like Ellie!” Cam said exasperatedly, waving at the girl. “Maybe she got into like mothballs or something. There has to be a reasonable explanation. If it’s not Ellie, who else would it be?”

“Thanks for the translation,” Kyle replied, ducking back behind Rylie.

'I have no intention of hurting your human,' Kit inched forward carefully, and it looks as if she had a grin on her muzzle. 'Can he understand you? Can you tell him that I don't want to hurt him?"

Take stood at the top of the stairs, contemplating whether or not to go looking for the missing two. It seemed like the group was more focused on whatever was going on with Ellie. He let out a huff and sat on the top step, remembering which part he stepped on when he went up. Deep in thought, he gnawed on the tip of his thumb, his elbows on his knees.
They could be near for all I know... I’ll just keep close to this area so I don’t get lost..
He got up and went down the stairs, not bothering to look back at the group as he went off.

"I don't know what's wrong with her, there might be nothing wrong with Ellie, but that thing isn't Ellie! I don't know what it is. Ask her a question, like something about us coming from Stonehenge maybe, I don't know. But if you don't it looks like Blair is about to, so we'll see anyways."
