They say good fences make good neighbors. I say good cookies do a better job of it.

I hope you get feeling better too. My unasked for advice is to stay rested and as stress free as possible. Maybe get a frozen pie to bake for the neighbors instead of cookies.
Mine are great jumpers. I am trying to ground them so when they are moved to the veggie garden for the winter they don't decide to start hoping that fence to get away from the older ones. They have never jumped that fencing this year but they are in the veggie garden by themselves. And a couple of the littles still fret when the others go back to the main enclosure. I know they know how to get back over but they are very dramatic regardless. I just leave them be and they finally remember how to get get back over.I'll be interested to hear if the clipping keeps them down.
My pullets are at the age (22 weeks) that they want to run everywhere and fly up onto high things. One flew up on top of the 6 ft. high gate this weekend. The she just sat there looking down like she was wondering how the heck she was going to get down w/out hurting herself.
I walked over slowly and asked her if I could get her down. She let me(I was hoping she would go flying off and injure a leg or something.)
Then today for the first time, 2 of them went over on the yard side of the back fence. Of course they don't know how in the world to get back. I don't know how long they were over there fretting. But I hope they don't do it while I'm at work because they will likely be caught by a hawk over there in their panic to figure out where to go.
Beautiful birds Delisha. Glad to see you popped in for a visit.Just peeking in..I have been so busy with the garden, showing, and my health I do not take the time to do much online chatting on BYC. I am trying really hard to get ready for winter. I have my immunity winter slurry in my pumpkins, the coops have the north sides all winterized. I have checked all the cords on the water warmers. I still need to work on my winter feed station...and a few pictures... A few of the birds at the show, and some of my teens that will be used for 2015.
