The Olive-Egger thread!

Finally! My first olive egg! (upper left).

I was happy that it is speckled. It was from a cross of an EE roo and my welsummer hen. I'm still waiting on one other possible olive layer. The other greenish egg is from my newest EE, and her egg is somewhat olive-ish, but not as dark.

Both the olive one and the dark one are very nice.

Here's one of my wheaten OE girls:

I sold my blue wheaten roo and another girl, but the buyer promised to send me pics of the boy when he's all grown up. Just toooooo much going on here to keep him

I did hatch some from alicefelldown, Very nice looking birds, I think I ended up with 7-8 pullets. They still have a couple months to go but I am anxiously awaiting that day

. I don't blame you, thats a very nice dark egg.
