I'm in a picture sharing mood! These are some of the animals that share our farm with the chickens.
This is my quarter horse mare, Blaze. She's a feisty girl that runs the show around here, and she's also Bobby's "seeing eye horse" - she takes care of him.
This is our blind paint gelding, Bobby. Bobby was adopted from the Kentucky Horse Park Rescue. He is the gentlest horse in the world, very affectionate and so trusting it humbles you. He was a stallion the first 5 years of his life, used as a teaser at a nurse mare farm. He is just amazing to me, and endears himself to everyone he meets.
This is Trigger, our feisty pony gelding. This is his wooly winter pic. In the summer he's a GORGEOUS dark gray dapple with a flaxen mane and tail. We call it his "Tina Turner" hairstyle. His special skills include unlocking gates and breaking into barns.
This is our Australian Shepherd, Toby. I've had him for 12 years - best dog in the world. He LOVES sticks...
We have two wiener dogs - Owen
.....and Rudy Roo. They are quite the entertaining duo, to say the least. And the hot dog jokes never end around here!
These are our new Lionhead bunnies - Oreo
...and Bugsy. I really need better pics of these guys...
And one of our barn kitties, Double. He and his identical brother, Trouble, were our first barn kitties.
