these ones I found on the internet are so cute

I have two white capped black polish pullets from July of last year. They look so much alike, it is hard to tell them apart.
I ended up banding them so I could tell from a distance which one is which. When they were little we called them Thing One and Thing Two or the Bobblehead Twins. They now have names, Artemis and Elvis, but mostly just call them The Bobbleheads. They are quirky and awesome and I just love them.🥰 Love to fly up on my back if I am bending down to pick something up, or fly up on my shoulder if I let them. We trim around their eyes, so they can see better. They seem to appreciate this. They are surprisingly good layers, and do not go broody (makes up for all my crazy silkies I guess 🤣). They lay about 5 eggs a week, on the smaller side but decent.
We have 3 month old silkie/polish cross pullet, Kinoko, who is the daughter of Elvis. She has the same quirky personality of her mother. They do not really make much noise, they sound like a creaky door more than anything else. Do not even make any noise when they lay.
If I had room, I would get more!😊

I Realllly love your description of their noise level... i think they and cochins are probably best as house chickens. The d'Uccles are noisy in the mornings, but quiet the rest of the day.. but oh the mornings.

I had a bunch when I was a teenager, but tragedy struck and I lost them all in the same day. I won't get into it, cause it was sad, unexpected, and waaaay in the past. I haven't owned any since, but I do have an absurd amount of love for crested breeds. Honestly any breed with some kind of quirk that sets them apart from the rest of chickendom. I'm currently working on a 'fancy flock' of Houdans, Crevecouers, and Sultans. I've got two of those breeds, now I'm just waiting on my Sultans!

I was fortunate enough to get two Polish last year.
The first picture of my girls is Becky. She is a Silver Lace bearded gorgeous girl.
The second is a picture of Punkie aka: The Iron Maiden. She is a White Crested Black.
She survive an extended scalping that required 8 weeks in my Infirmary. She was scalped by my Mean/Big Girls, 3 RIRs, 3EEs.
Now, my two girls have their own castle.
The third picture is of their coop.
I Love them and need more but, haven't found any locally but, I will get more.
They both lay small eggs daily. 1 white egg and 1 pink egg.
