Why do polish have black feet and pink toes?

It depends on the breed. My White Crested Black has grey legs and grey toes.

I can't wait to get some of my own

I can't wait for you to get your own too!! They are flighty but, friendly if you hold them everyday. I call mine and they come running. They are very inquisitive and Nosey to what your doing. But you have to trim the feathers from around the eyes. The feather block the vision. Here is a picture of my Silver Lace when she was young. I pulled her feathers up into a hair tie before I could bring myself to trim her feathers.

Depending on how Pippin is, I might not be able to cuddle them- they are her eggs!
I'm gonna candle soon, it will be the moment of truth. Will Pippin get to follow her dreams of being a mamma? Will I get polish chicks? Would the expensive eggs be a waste of money?

I don't trim mine. At that point, may as well get more spitzhauben instead. Don't pull their hair up either. I simply keep them with calmer birds. (Not that I keep aggressive hens either though)
