Three Faverolle chicks hatched! They are nice and dry and I decided to put one in with the precious just to see how she would react.

Different scenarios ran through my head. I thought they might all cuddle up and the little precious would finally feel at ease. I also considered that the little demon would peck my dear faverolles and be a bully; but nope - neither of these.

The sweet dear little fav is just laying in the brooder as calm as can be and The Precious is screaming in horror and pacing the brooder trying to get out. "There's a monster in my room!! It's going to eat me alive!! Get me out of here!"

Just wait until I put the other two in there.

I might regret making fun of the evil one.

UPDATE: Well, The Precious finally got used to her new roomates. They even slept in a clump together...Very cute. Last night I was just thinking about getting the camera out to get pictures of them when she started to sneeze. I didn't think anything about it, but then I noticed a couple hours later that she's was still sneezing. I didn't want to take any chances, so I separated her from her new found friends.

She was NOT happy about being alone again and I haven't heard a sneeze since, haha. I think I may have overreacted, but I think I'm going to keep them separate for at least a few more days just to be sure. I LOVE my Precious dearly, but I also have dreamed of having faverolles for a long long time. I don't want anything to happen to those babies. So, Precious gets to spend more time in my lap until they can re-unite.

It was probably a bit of dust from the four of them being together.

She's EE/Welsummer. Hopefully a she... She was very noisy yesterday, much more quiet today. Not screaming for me yet.

These little singles are SOOOOO CUTE! OMG!!!!!!

Hopefully some of the silkies and showgirls will hatch at the end of the month so she'll have a buddy or 12.​
