The problem with chicken...

Let me know how it turns out for you.
We tried it and i did exactly like the recipe like i do with most new things. It was decent though i feel it can be approved upon. The flavor was not what i was expecting and didnt feel balanced. If you have altered this recipe at all for chicken id love to hear your alterations. I think this might be better for pork chops

We do cracker chicken - and serve with canned green beans on the side.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 1" pieces.
Crush one sleeve of saltine crackers (or RITZ/Townhouse) in a gallon sized plastic bag. Season crackers with Seasoned Salt and Garlic Powder.
Dip chicken pieces in milk, then roll in the cracker crumbs. Place on oiled cookie sheet; I cover the cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with Pam to prevent sticking.
Drizzle with a little olive oil - once again I use Pam to spray the chicken pieces.
Bake in hot oven for 7 minutes - turn chicken pieces over - bake for 5 more minutes.

I like the chicken just as it is, DH likes to dip his in BBQ sauce. Leftovers are really good on a salad.
You can use any seasoning mix that your family likes - it was good with Mrs. Dash instead of the Lowries seasoned Salt and garlic that I usually do. I have also made it with Basil, Oregano, garlic salt and onion powder. Just season teh cracker crumbs to taste good to you.

My kids love easy baked chicken. (Very little mess)
Take a ziplock bag, (I don’t actually measure the ingredients so i’ll Try to estimate) add:
Flour 1 1/2 cups
Salt to taste about 1tbs
Black pepper 1/2 tbs
Garlic powder 1 tbs
Paprika 1 tbs
Shake to mix.
Add chicken(skin on, bone in) to bag, shake to coat chicken
Place coated chicken in 13x9 glass pan with a stick of butter or margarine. Bake at 400 for about 1 hour flipping once half way through.

It is like a less crusty fried chicken. We serve ours with mashed potatoes and chicken gravy.

We also love tequila lime chicken, but that has lots of onions.

Or they like jalapeño popper chicken:
Stuff chicken breasts with a mixture of bacon crumbles, cream cheese, cheddar cheese and diced jalapeños. Coat chicken with breading before baking. This is not very spicy if you don’t use too many peppers.

I found a new yummy, taquito recipe.

*Stuffing stuff*
  1. Throw ingredients into (Full recipe here!crockpot salsa chicken filling.) crockpot <– chicken, salsa, Tabasco, taco seasoning, and water
  2. Cook, shred, done.

~Shell~
Choose a corn or flour tortilla.
BOOM!

~*Assembly*~
  1. You’ll take one small tortilla (corn or flour) and fill it with two tablespoons of salsa chicken and one tablespoon of shredded cheese on one end of the tortilla.
  2. Roll the tortilla gently to form the taquito, starting at the filled side.
  3. Use two toothpicks to secure the taquito along the seam.
  4. Bake, air fry, or fry!

*~Air frying~*
4-6 minutes at 400F, then flip halfway through to ensure full frying!

~*~Frying~*~
All you need to do is heat 1 inch of canola oil to 350 degrees F in a deep straight edged sauté pan and fry each taquito for about 3-5 minutes, gently flipping every so often to promote even browning. When you’re done, remove the taquitos from the oil and let them drain for a bit on a paper towel.

*~*Oven Baking*~*
All you need to do is spray them with a little cooking spray, then bake ’em at 400 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes on a silicone mat lined baking sheet! Again, I like removing the toothpicks and flipping them at the halfway point to ensure even cooking.

(Found & Paraprhrased from this website- https://showmetheyummy.com/air-fryer-chicken-taquitos-recipe/ They have amazing recipes!)
