Are you referring to Beer Can chicken? Ive made it before and its quite good but i only buy boneless skinless chicken breast. Any idea how to make it with those?Drunk chicken.
We tried it and i did exactly like the recipe like i do with most new things. It was decent though i feel it can be approved upon. The flavor was not what i was expecting and didnt feel balanced. If you have altered this recipe at all for chicken id love to hear your alterations. I think this might be better for pork chopsLet me know how it turns out for you.
You ever try this with panko bread crumbs? We do cracker chicken - and serve with canned green beans on the side.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 1" pieces.
Crush one sleeve of saltine crackers (or RITZ/Townhouse) in a gallon sized plastic bag. Season crackers with Seasoned Salt and Garlic Powder.
Dip chicken pieces in milk, then roll in the cracker crumbs. Place on oiled cookie sheet; I cover the cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with Pam to prevent sticking.
Drizzle with a little olive oil - once again I use Pam to spray the chicken pieces.
Bake in hot oven for 7 minutes - turn chicken pieces over - bake for 5 more minutes.
I like the chicken just as it is, DH likes to dip his in BBQ sauce. Leftovers are really good on a salad.
You can use any seasoning mix that your family likes - it was good with Mrs. Dash instead of the Lowries seasoned Salt and garlic that I usually do. I have also made it with Basil, Oregano, garlic salt and onion powder. Just season teh cracker crumbs to taste good to you.
