Interesting! I can’t tell which is which...lol.There is an EE (Green Queen) and a real Ameraucana in this picture.
Both are solid colors.
And legs aren‘t visible.
I’m going to guess that the GQ is blue?

I guess we just have different definitions of “Easter egger”.I had always thought that OEs are seperate because they are bred specifically for one egg color, whereas EEs can lay tan, pale-bright blue, mint-olive green, and pinky brown.

heres my roo along with Caliope and Penelope (the one we are talking about)
The rooster doesn’t have a crest, so he isn’t a father. Then yeah, it's your roo crossed with an EE. That's the only way she could have hatched from a green egg.
I always saw OE as a subsection of EEI had always thought that OEs are seperate because they are bred specifically for one egg color, whereas EEs can lay tan, pale-bright blue, mint-olive green, and pinky brown.
Agreed.I always saw OE as a subsection of EE

Vanilla‘s are the pale sky-blue, and JB’s are the slightly more teal-green.
Yes. She is a remarkably pretty bird, her name is Queen Anne. She's kind of tall and skinny. The Ameraucana (Diana) is fluffier and heftier and just larger over all. They look enough a like though that the Ameraucana genes must be strong. The baby Green Queen im raising now is nearly identical to the Ameraucana at the same age, except the legs are wrong.Interesting! I can’t tell which is which...lol.
