I’m trying this right now! So excitedThank you very much! I breed one of my ayam cemani roosters with some of my araucana hens and this was the result. My pullets lay every time different shade eggs. Some times are more dark and some other more light, almost white. Only the fibromelanistic hens have this ability. They are very friendly and social. All parts of their body are total black. I think it is one of the most interesting araucana mixes. Anyone who has these breeds I suggest to do a test and will not regret it![]()
I thought they were a type of olive egger? Because they only lay green eggs?
I had always thought that OEs are seperate because they are bred specifically for one egg color, whereas EEs can lay tan, pale-bright blue, mint-olive green, and pinky brown.
I guess we just have different definitions of “Easter egger”.
