So I'm new, thank you so much for this post.
Could you please clarify what the slate color of the legs look like VS green?
I'm having a hard time telling slate apart from green.
Also, do all ameraucana have the same color legs?
I ordered 6 ameraucana pullets, they are black, blue and splash. Paid approximately $23 for each.

I'm pretty sure Meyer sells pure ones. But they're expensive.

Great to hear, I just ordered 6 from them in blue, black and splash. They gave great description, consistent with what you are saying and I'm paying over $20 each. I'm hoping these are the real deal.

Feed store 'americanas' are easter eggers like yours. Beautiful birds and amazing egg basket!

Lol. I always laugh to myself when I see Americana. I have Ameraucanas also. I had to find a breeder and pay much more for them.

They were all March babies. The lightest one, “Sony”, started at 5 months, the one without a beard, “Blue“, a couple of weeks after, and ”Ellen” was the last about a month ago.

Yes, all ameraucanas should have the same leg and skin color.

I believe Myers ameraucanas, the blue/black/splash are genuine.
Just know you will get any one of those three colors in the ones that you ordered and possibly all three colors. They do not guarantee to be the blue ones. They will have slate gray legs and lay blue eggs
EEs often have greenish colored legs.

Easter Eggers are what began my current obsession with chickens. I absolutely love their beards and random colors.
They are also my main inspiration for a little project breed I'm working on!
