i feel like the “breeder” ( not sure how legitimate the woman was, i didn’t meet her. my cousin picked them up for me ) might have fibbed at bit? and they are actually EEs. both were bought for $10 each
yeah, they weren’t in good shape when i got them. i don’t think they were taken care of very well. their crops were empty and they felt like feathers, skin & bones when i picked them up. they’re regrowing a lot of feathers, now, so there’s something. They look like ameraucanas to me, just poor quality ones.
They are EEs. The splash with feathered legs might be an EE mix, possibly with a marans to make her an olive egger. What would these be? The seller just called them Easter Eggers but they look nothing like the other Easter Eggers I ownView attachment 2369031View attachment 2369032View attachment 2369034
Since they both don’t look like they have beards, they’re probably EEs.I bought black ameraucana hatching eggs and where all black but one, pictures below at about 6 weeks old.

Thank you. I mostly agree. They are EEs. The splash with feathered legs might be an EE mix, possibly with a marans to make her an olive egger.
