Yup. These two eggs are from a pullet. She laid 2 pullet sized eggs, then supersized them. They are more blue than they look in the picture.

I am part of the Welsummer family again!, hope it is a girl so I can keep it, but I will just have to wait and see!:

I'm fairly new to owning chickens and recently got a welsummer baby and she is super calm and sweet though it took her a few days to get use to the click of the camera LOL. I hope you will soon enjoy a welsummer to your flock.

Congrats she's a beauty! Notice I said "she" you've got a pullet. My pullets look just like that with the dark well defined V atop the head and eyeliner around the eyes. Thanks for sharing!

I like the bantams so far,,The small size works me as far as house thru the winters,,,

sad day yesterday- we ended up losing our rooster and 1 hen- both injuried their legs,

so now we wait and see what how our 1 cockeral chick hatched out this year does.
